Overhead Remote Transmission Type Fault Indicator (Externally Applied Signal Type)
Components
The system consists of distribution remote terminal and system master station. The distribution remote terminal consists of auxiliary source and its controller, overhead line fault detection terminal and overhead line type communication terminal. The system master station consists of various hardware and software such as routers, communication switches, servers, clients and master station software, and can support interconnection with other operation management systems.
Product Features
1. Using the sudden change amount method to detect short-circuit faults and external application signal method to detect grounding faults, to achieve in-situ judgment of the line short-circuit and grounding fault.
2. Applicable to overhead lines and cable lines, for remote and in-situ fault indicators.
3. Not applicable to the detection of transient, intermittent single-phase ground fault, applicable to the grounding resistance of 800Ω or less single-phase ground fault identification.
4. fault indicator’s indicating unit mainly relies on its own battery for power source, supplemented by line induction to take power, and can work normally on lines with lower load.
5. Need to be used with substation bus (or installed on the outlet line) externally applied signal generating device. The externally applied signal generating device needs to be installed with power off.
