SQGZ10 transmission line distributed fault precise location system realizes high-frequency sampling and fast recording of fault traveling wave and foldback traveling wave signals through fault monitoring terminals distributed on transmission line routes, and quickly and accurately analyzes the fault type and locates the fault point through the master station background software system. The system also supports web access, computer graphics display, SMS alert, etc., which enables operation and maintenance staff to obtain timely information about the time, type and location of faults, greatly reducing the intensity and cost of fault inspection, shortening fault investigation time, and effectively improving power supply reliability and significantly reducing direct and indirect economic losses caused by fault outages.

 

 

Technical principle

Through high-frequency sampling and fast recording, the system realizes the collection of transient traveling wave current for lightning strike faults and non-lightning strike faults of transmission lines. By comparing and analyzing the transient traveling wave currents collected during lightning strike faults, it can identify the nature of lightning strike bypass and counter-strike faults; by comparing and analyzing the transient traveling wave currents collected during non-lightning strike faults, the system can identify the nature of six types of faults, such as tree barriers, hill fires, floating objects, ice cover, wind deflection and external damage, etc. It can determine the fault interval through the traveling wave current flow direction and precisely locate the fault point through the traveling wave distance measurement method within the determined interval. The fault location is determined by the traveling wave current flow direction.
