R&D Center in Beijing

As a national high-tech company, Sumching has established a strong R&D center in Beijing with over 50 research professionals. Its core members have academic backgrounds from top-tier universities in China, e.g., Tsinghua University, Tianjin University and North China Electric Power University, and have more than 15 years of research experience in the power industry. The company has a team of expert advisors consisting of many Tsinghua professors and its honorary chairman is an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering to guide the development of the company.

At present, the company has in-depth research in the areas of relay protection principle, embedded system technology, communication technology, terminal application technology, and industry software. It is in the leading position in the industry for its key technologies. Up to now, the company has obtained 69 patents (including 7 invention patents and 62 utility model patents) and 27 software copy rights.
